born in Nigeria, and raised in New York. Growing up he was heavily influenced by the Spirit of the United Nations, and the cultures of both New York City & Nigeria.
Up Until Now
Akin's been told He was an entrepreneur since Kindergarten, (after getting caught selling fruit roll ups to get better lunches). started His first "official" business at 14, Prodigy Clothing, which was A brand that He ran for 3 years. At 15, He started work in the apparel industry under Kevin Leong, Creative Director to Russell Simmons. Fast forward a few years and some amazing experiences (designing clothes, Planning fashion shows & way too much to fit in a bio), and He was ready to head to Boston for college. Throughout his college years HE had a number of entrepreneurial ventures and roles at various companies. The rest is right here on Linkedin & AngelIst. These days, Akin Advises budding Startups on growth, and works on some other Passion Projects.
